Born on a late winter day in February 1982, Juliana brought warmth, playfulness, and unwavering devotion into every season of her life.

A Heart Full of Sweetness

Juliana’s life was defined by compassion, service, and an unmistakable spark of joy. As a dedicated nurse in the Emergency Department, she truly loved her work and poured her heart into helping people during their most vulnerable moments. Outside the hospital, she was a devoted San Francisco 49ers fan—and one of her proudest accomplishments was combining both passions when she served as a volunteer nurse during Super Bowl 50.

She found happiness in the things that made her smile: collecting everything Hello Kitty, traveling to beautiful places like Spain, cooking up her famous lemon-pepper “Chicken à la Ju,” or grabbing her go-to Burger King Whopper Jr. combo. Even when facing stage 4 uterine cancer that had spread to her lungs, Juli carried herself with extraordinary courage, grace, and warmth. Her healing hands and loving spirit touched countless lives and remain with us forever.

One of Her Proudest Moments

Juli was an Emergency Department nurse through and through—she loved her job and she loved helping people. As a devoted 49ers fan, volunteering as a nurse during Super Bowl 50 at Levi’s Stadium brought together her calling to care for others and the team she loved, becoming one of the proudest milestones of her life.
